Dr. Robert M. Todd


Dr. Robert Todd II became a Co-Medical Director for Physicians Preferred Laboratory in 1995. Dr. Todd received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to complete his Medical Degree in June of 1985, at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Todd completed his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency in June of 1990, at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Todd holds medical licenses in both Texas and New Mexico. The American Board of Pathology certifies him in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He has been a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, a member of the Potter-Randall County Medical Society, and a member of the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. James M. Hurly


Dr. James M. Hurly completed his undergraduate studies at Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota in 1986, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and German. While in his fourth year, he also studied in the former West Germany, completing a course of study at the Goethe Institute in Goettingen. During college, he also worked as a laboratory assistant/diener at Trinity Hospital in Minot.  Following graduation, he enrolled at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota, receiving his Medical Degree in 1990. During this time, Dr. Hurly also completed a surgical pathology elective at the University of California in

San Diego, California.


Dr. Hurly completed his Residency in Combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. In his final year, he also served as Chief Resident in Pathology from 1993 to 1994.  His educational training was completed in 1995, with a 5th year Fellowship in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Hurly has served as an anatomic and clinical pathologist in Amarillo, TX since 1995, with an interest in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology. He is a fellow of the American College of Pathologists, and a member of the Potter-Randall Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He is also the medical director of Amarillo Pathology Group's histology laboratory.

Dr. Andrew C. Hoot


Dr. Hoot, board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, joined  APG as an associate in July 2004 and has been a partner since July 2008. Following completion of Pathology training at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School, where he also served as Chief Resident. He spent two years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia studying pediatric and perinatal pathology. Prior to pathology, Dr.Hoot, a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, had completed training in Internal Medicine, as well as an internship in General Surgery.  He practiced Internal Medicine for the USPHS- Indian Health Service in Arizona, as well as Emergency Medicine in rural Missouri.  Dr.Hoot is currently affiliated with the Potter-Randall Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association and is a Fellow and Inspector in the College of American Pathologists.

Dr. Michael D. Sennett


Dr. Michael Dean Sennett joined Amarillo Pathology Group in 2006 as a staff pathologist and became a partner in July 2010.  Dr. Sennett received his undergraduate degree in economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1987.    Dr. Sennett received his Medical Degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 1993. He completed a transitional clinical internship at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1994 prior to his decision to pursue training in Pathology.  His first two years of training were spent at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the final two years in the Baptist Health System, both in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Daniel L. Schneider


Dr. Daniel L. Schneider joined Amarillo Pathology Group in 2006 as a staff pathologist and became a partner in July 2010.  He majored in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and received his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2000.  He went on to pursue his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Arkansas, and served as the Chief Resident while there.  Dr. Schneider then obtained Hematopathology, and, subsequently, Surgical Pathology, fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Jason Schocker


Dr. Jason Schocker is the newest member of Amarillo Pathology Group. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX, with honors, in 2009. He then went on to pursue his clinical and anatomic pathology residency at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Schocker then obtained his surgical pathology with special interest in gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellowship training from Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN in 2014. Dr. Schocker is board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology. He is also a member of the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Schocker’s professional interests include gastrointestinal and liver pathology and transfusion medicine.
